About Orange Organisations (from my experience):

Training and coaching are highly formalised, we have seen the development of training companies, in addition to the traditional training ways (on the job, vocational schools and universities). The idea of "life long learning" is born, and training is "bought" by the HR departments / functions, in order to fulfil the needs that are identified.

Training needs to be very specific, with almost technically to the point, even when it comes to more "coaching" or "soft" topics, such as leadership training.
